I knew from the first time I spoke with Betsy on the phone that she was absolutely, head-over-heels, swept off her feet, crazy about Justin. She described him like he was her very own prince charming, a true Southern gentleman, the kindest man she'd ever met, and the one and only one that she was meant to be with. Forever.

And upon meeting the two of them together, there was no mistaking that he was also madly, over-the-moon, crazy in love with Betsy (and with good reason - she's beautiful, so very kind, and smart, too). They finish each other's sentences, he makes her laugh that uncontrollable girlish giggle, and oh, he's got a little of that cowboy swagger about him, which doesn't hurt.

Betsy and Justin will be married in the Fall at First United Methodist Church of High Point, followed by a sure-to-be-stunning reception at  the lovely Colonial Country Club.

They brought along their adorable little miniature dachshund, Tater, who behaved so well for the camera. Isn't she just precious?!?

Ahh... don't you just love those gorgeous blue eyes?! Betsy, you are truly stunning!

Betsy+Justin :: We had so much fun with y'all in downtown Greensboro and are so glad we got to know you a little better over dinner at Natty Greene's! You guys are the most adorable pair EVER, and we can't wait to join you for your wedding in October!

2011 Wedding Photography Review :: greensboro wedding photographer

Let me just start this by saying how incredibly blessed we were this past year. We worked with some awesome vendors, photographed at so many gorgeous venues, met, became friends with, and worked with INCREDIBLE photographers, and captured the weddings of the most AMAZING brides and grooms EVER.

We took a huge leap of faith this year with me committing myself to the business full-time, and we've succeeded beyond my wildest and craziest dreams. But I can't take any of the credit for it... it's all due to you and the tremendous love and support you've shown us in 2011. So, thank you. All of you. You truly mean more to me than you'll ever know.

happy new year :: pittsburgh event photography

Josh and I returned yesterday from a trip to Pittsburgh, where we celebrated Christmas with Josh's family and rung in the New Year right. After arriving in Blairsville (about an hour from the city) early Friday evening, opening some sweet gifts from his fam, and enjoying an incredible meal by Josh's mom, we headed in to Pittsburgh. We got to hang with old friends (many of which we hadn't seen in 2+ years!!), met some great new friends, and spent two epic nights celebrating the New Year in Southside!

After an extra late breakfast at Pamela's (the BEST) on Saturday, Josh and I spent a couple of hours doing some sightseeing downtown. Despite having lived in Pennsylvania for 3 years, I never really got to see much of Pittsburgh. It's such an awesome city (as long as you don't have to drive in it), and the rain let up just in time for me to snap a few photos...
