You may recognize Ashleigh from her bridal session posted earlier this week, and I am thrilled to be sharing photos from her wedding to LeMar, held at Greensboro College and followed by a reception at The Regency Room at Elm Street Center in downtown Greensboro.
Ashleigh and LeMar's day was filled with love, and the two were surrounded by supportive friends and loved ones who made it clear that Ashleigh and LeMar were each welcomed into the other's family with open arms. As told by their friends, their relationship was one that turned from being great friends to falling in love with one another and pledging to spend their lives by each other's side.
Although I think it's an impossible feat to capture all the emotion in the room, I hope that these images accurately portray the love and joy of Ashleigh and LeMar's most important day.
The father of the bride had a set of military dogtags embossed with a note to his little girl.
The folks at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in downtown Greensboro were kind enough to let us in to take a few photos in the lobby and on a little piece of history on the original steps of Woolworth's... these shots are some of my absolute favorites from the day.
Gotta love a Lakers groom's cake, and I was glad to have a groomsmen willing to show off his new cufflinks... a gift to the groomsmen from LeMar.
Ashleigh+LeMar :: Thank you for allowing us to share in the celebration of your love and commitment to one another! We had so much fun with you two, and we hope you've had a fabulous time on your surprise honeymoon in MEXICO!!
