This weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours with a fabulous couple. Jeremy and Christi, newcomers to North Carolina, moved down here from Boston just a few months ago for Christi to attend P.A. school at Wake Forest University. They'll be married in Vermont next year but decided to capture their new locale with an engagement session. They wanted something rustic to match the style of their wedding day, so I knew Old Salem would be the perfect spot. This place never dissapoints, and it was especially beautiful with all of the fall colors...

   

Stop being so ADORABLE you two! There's no mistaking that these two are madly in love!

Jeremy and Christi met playing softball and are both huge Red Sox fans, so of course, we had to incorporate some baseball/softball lovin' into their engagement session...

As you may remember, a few weeks ago, we ran a contest for one lucky couple to win an engagement session. Those lucky winners were Kelsea and John of Greensboro, whose Dixie Classic Fair engagement session was featured yesterday on Ever Lovely Blog.

On Friday, the opening day of the fair, we met up at the South Gate and began our trek around the fairgrounds. I had such a great time with John and Kelsea (how can you help but have fun at the fair?!), and they are probably two of the kindest people you will ever meet. I know their wedding on Hilton Head Island is going to be absolutely GORGEOUS!

Here are just a few of my favorites from our afternoon together...

See John... at least I let you have your sunglasses in one photo. That counts for something, right??

Seriously?! You are absolutely stunning, Kelsea. And you ROCKED that blue dress and those boots. Love. it.

    

John+Kelsea - Thank you so much for allowing me the chance to get to know the two of you a little better. Both of you were so much fun to photograph, and I look forward to seeing y'all again soon!

kamisha+adrian - engaged :: winston-salem engagement photographer

She loves all things pink, glitter, and girly, and he loves her. Not because she loves those things, but because she is confident in herself, her likes and dislikes, and her love for him. Adrian and Kamisha met a little over six years ago, while both donning those red uniforms so infamously known to Target. A friend started the wheels turning in Kamisha's head that she and Adrian should be together, and after that moment, she knew exactly what she wanted. It was him.

Appropriately so, we started off Tuesday's engagement session at the place where their love first began...

Next, we headed on over to their alma mater, Winston-Salem State University. This campus is absolutely gorgeous...

You two are precious. No...really. Inside and out.

 

We wrapped things up in downtown Winston-Salem, just as the sun started to set against the beautiful art on the side of this old building.
