jake+katie :: engaged :: winston-salem engagement photographer

Hailing from New York and Chicago respectively, Katie and Jake met while in school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, and it wasn't long until they fell in love. Now, they live in Washington D.C., but while visiting their alma mater for homecoming this past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session.

While the rain took a break just in time for our session, I followed Jake and Katie all over campus to the places that meant something special to them... their first date, their first kiss, and so on. These two are so photogenic and a little rain certainly didn't keep us from capturing some beautiful images of the love they have for each other...

Next, we headed to the lovely Reynolda Gardens for a slight change of scenery...

Isn't Katie gorgeous?! She's such a natural beauty, and the camera absolutely loves her.
