Josh met Spenser last year through mountain biking, and of course, when he found out they were getting married, being the good husband that he is, he asked if they had a photographer and passed along our business card. From our first meeting with Niki and Spenser, I knew that we were going to get along just great.

Their relationship started as high school sweethearts. Then they went to college together. They've been by each other's side for nearly eight years, through celebrations and struggles, and really, their wedding this weekend was a much-anticipated formality. Though they professed it publicly on Saturday, Niki and Spenser vowed to love each other forever a long time ago.

Their beautiful wedding at Hodgin Valley Farm was such a great celebration of two amazing people, and we're so glad that we got to be a part of it!

It just doesn't get any prettier than this... Niki, you looked PHENOMENAL!!!

... it's really not a party until you have groomsmen with tear-away pants and superhero boxers :)

I can't believe it's honestly been a whole year since Jennifer+Kyle's wedding at the Rogers-Green House, which was one of our most fun parties to date! Their event was my first wedding to photograph in my hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, and I am also so excited that they will be welcoming a baby girl to their family later this year! They went arm-in-arm to dinners and alumni events for their alma mater, NC A&T University, insisting that they were just friends, until one day... they were more than friends.

Then they dated, attending the weddings of friends, insisting that they wouldn't be getting engaged anytime soon, until one day... he bought her a ring. And she said yes.

Tonika and Tony are one of those couples that you can see their love for one another. He depends on her to make sure everything is just right. She counts on him to keep her calm in times of chaos, knowing that everything is okay in the world as long as he is by her side. And they rely on their many friends and family to help them through difficult times and celebrate (and boy do they know how to CELEBRATE) the good times. Tony and Tonika are two people who express and deserve respect, love, and appreciation like no other.

We are so honored that we were able to be part of their GORGEOUS wedding at the Elm Street Center in Greensboro, with design and coordination by the lovely Laura Jennifer Events.

Tonika and her girls got ready at the chic Proximity Hotel in Greensboro. You can't find a better backdrop for the pre-wedding photos than this place.

This bridal party was so much fun to be around, and they made sure the bride and groom made a grand entrance to the reception!
