ryan+ashley :: married :: mississippi wedding photographer
/Ryan and Ashley were introduced by a mutual friend a few years ago. They didn't know then that one day, when the time was right, their paths would once again cross. It would be their mutual experience with mission trips to Peru that would spark the conversation that would lead to a beautiful relationship. And eventually, would lead to a trip down the aisle.
This weekend was the wedding of my dear friend Ashley, who I've known since the 7th grade, to a wonderful man named Ryan. I've been speaking to Ashley for many months about Ryan, listening to her tell stories of their first date, falling in love, and getting engaged, but it was just this weekend, the day before their wedding, that I finally met him. And seeing the two of them together - the neverending smiles, joyful tears, and nervous excitement - it was instantly apparent that they are meant to be together. Forever.
Ryan and Ashley opted to see one another before the ceremony. I love it when a couple does a First Look... Such a special moment!
Let me just take a moment to say, once again, how envious I am of your gorgeous hair and icy blue eyes... I'm dying to be a ginger! Please let me into the club!
Two of my very best friends - Adam is an amazing artist (ask us about his watercolor renditions of one of your wedding day photos being added to our collections soon) and Miranda is my personal psychologist (who I don't have to pay for great advice... YET). They did some EPIC finger-stache photo-bombing at the reception.
Since 1999. We may all be scattered across the country, but a good party always brings us back together :)
Ashley+Ryan - I hope y'all are having tons of fun in Jamaica! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your wedding day! It meant more than I could ever express. Wishing you a lifetime of romance and happiness (and lots of pretty redheaded, blue-eyed babies)! Love to you both!
