alena + robert :: greensboro engagement photographer

They met while in college, both working at the local Best Buy. Maybe it was those stunning blue polos that first attracted them to one another, but they quickly became the best of friends, meeting one another for breakfast each morning. Little did they know that these were the first of many dates in their future.

They laugh and giggle in that brand new, puppy love kind of way, despite that they've been together for years, as they tell me the story of their beginnings, each interjecting their own versions and arguing over who liked who first (Alena is certain that it was she who liked him).

I met up with Alena and Robert on the campus of their alma mater, NC A&T University in Greensboro, to take their engagement photos. Despite traveling until 2 a.m. the night before the shoot to get to Greensboro from their home in Washington D.C. and a long day of cake tasting and DJ meetings that didn't allow time for lunch, these two were a true pleasure to spend the afternoon with.

Robert and Alena - thank you for allowing me to spend the afternoon with you and being so wonderful! I'm looking forward to a great time and lots of great photographs at your wedding in August!

I am thrilled to announce that my dear friend Ashley is engaged!

Ashley and I have known each other for 10 years (a decade... wow!), and I am so honored that she has asked us to photograph her autumn wedding in my home state of Mississippi.

Congratulations Ashley and Ryan! Enjoy your time as an engaged couple and have fun planning your upcoming wedding!

Brendyn & Stephanie :: Greensboro Engagement Photographer

This morning, I had the pleasure of photographing a young couple from Burlington at some of those beautiful barns that I showed you in my last post. Brendyn and Stephanie met at Elon University in Burlington and asked me to do a couples photo session for them. So, we braved the cold temps and wind and navigated around rusty nails to get some great photographs.

Brendyn & Stephanie - I had so much fun photographing you guys and hope to have the chance to do it again in the future!
