You may remember Shane and Jessica from their Greensboro engagement session last fall. Josh and I were so honored to be part of their wedding this weekend at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, followed by a great party at Winston-Salem's Millennium Center. I am absolutely in love with all the details from this wedding, many of which were made by the bride herself under her business name, As You Fancy.

We headed to Old Salem after the ceremony, and despite a little rain, we were able to capture these sweet images of the couple's first moments together as Mr. and Mrs. The best man even celebrated the couple with a little fireworks show while they posed for pictures :)

ashleigh+lemar :: married :: greensboro wedding photographer

You may recognize Ashleigh from her bridal session posted earlier this week, and I am thrilled to be sharing photos from her wedding to LeMar, held at Greensboro College and followed by a reception at The Regency Room at Elm Street Center in downtown Greensboro.​

Ashleigh and LeMar's day was filled with love, and the two were surrounded by supportive friends and loved ones who made it clear that Ashleigh and LeMar were each welcomed into the other's family with open arms. As told by their friends, their relationship was one that turned from being great friends to falling in love with one another and pledging to spend their lives by each other's side.​ 

Although I think it's an impossible feat to capture all the emotion in the room, I hope that these images accurately portray the love and joy of Ashleigh and LeMar's most important day. 

​The father of the bride had a set of military dogtags embossed with a note to his little girl.

​The folks at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in downtown Greensboro were kind enough to let us in to take a few photos in the lobby and on a little piece of history on the original steps of Woolworth's... these shots are some of my absolute favorites from the day.

Gotta love a Lakers groom's cake, and I was glad to have a groomsmen willing to show off his new cufflinks... a gift to the groomsmen from LeMar.​
