jennifer + kyle :: mississippi wedding photographer

Last weekend, Josh and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jennifer and Kyle in my (Elizabeth here) hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Jennifer is a friend of my dear friend Adam, and I was thrilled when she asked us to travel to the deep south to capture their momentous occasion. All of my family now lives in Nashville, so I hadn't been to Mississippi in over a year. This wedding was the perfect opportunity to indulge in lunch at Cafe La Fleur (definitely Laurel's best restaurant) and a milkshake from Holloway's. In case you haven't learned by now, next to friends and family, food is one of my most favorite things and therefore, one of my most missed things about home.

Jennifer and Kyle and all of their friends and family were such a blast to work with. Despite temperatures topping off at 108 degrees (welcome to Mississippi, right?) on Saturday, no one melted and fun was had by all!

The reception was held at the beautiful Rogers-Green House in historic downtown Laurel...

My second bride in a row with killer, sapphire-colored shoes... I'm definitely not complaining :)

Jill Richards of Laurel did all of the floral arrangements for the wedding and reception... I just love her work!

The bride and groom definitely left in style... on a Vespa. That's my kinda getaway vehicle!

Kyle & Jennifer - Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your wedding. We wish you many happy years together!
