I am so incredibly honored and excited (like the real deal jumping up and down kind of excited) to have Brittany and Jeff's Nashville wedding featured today on Vera Wang's Vera Unveiled blog!

This feature is extra special, not only because Brittany is a friend of mine from college, but also because I got to work with so many AMAZING wedding professionals, many of whom are fellow Alpha Sigma Tau alumnae, on this beautiful event.

I have to admit that I feel a little small to even be on the same web page as the Vera Wang logo - her work is so iconic and the brand is just so big - I mean, come on, who DOESN'T know the name Vera Wang? But I am so so so grateful for the opportunity to be featured on her site, and I am forever indebted to my incredible brides and grooms and the crazy awesome teams of wedding professionals that I get to work with at each and every wedding for helping to make my dreams (that often seem too big to ever be possible) come true.

You may remember Brittany and Jeff from their engagement session last fall. I met Brittany seven years ago when I joined the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority as a freshman at Belmont University. This girl is full of life and fun, and during her time at Belmont, she found Jeff, a guy who enjoys life just as much as Brittany.

This wedding was special for me not only because Brittany is a dear friend, but also because their ceremony was held at the Wightman Chapel at Nashville's Scarritt-Bennett Center, the same place where Josh and I said "I do" a little over three years ago. Though I may be just a little partial, it's such a beautiful venue, and I was so excited and honored to have the chance to photograph a wedding there.

My goodness, Brittany... you made an absolutely STUNNING bride. 

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I absolutely, head-over-heels love when a bride and groom do a First Look! This was such a sweet moment, and we were able to get so many fabulous photos of the bride and groom before the ceremony.

The images from the dance floor were some of my favorites from the night... so much fun!

Carli+Kyle are a pair who know the journey is more important than the destination, and they embrace that journey arm-in-arm. They've been by each other's side for a decade, through ups and downs, and after a two year engagement, on the 10th anniversary of the day they began dating so long ago, they were married in a beautiful rooftop ceremony at the Greene Street Club in downtown Greensboro.

This couple's fun and unique sense of style was so exciting to capture, and the tone of their big day was relaxed... one of a couple that has a comfortable kind of love with no doubts about their vows to one other.

A blush pink Vera Wang gown? Yes, please!

I was so thrilled when Carli+Kyle decided to have a First Look at the beautiful Proximity Hotel... it was such a sweet moment between the two of them, complete with tears of joy and lots of hugs.
