Caroline and Ryan were a true joy to work with on my first wedding of the year!. After a beautiful week of sunshine and 70s, we were met with rain and cold weather on their big day. But being the glass-half-full people that they are, they didn't let it get them down, letting the most important part of their wedding take precedent - the fact that they had the great privilege on that day to commit to an eternity by each other's side.

While Ryan and the guys were getting ready nearby, Caroline was becoming a bride at her parents' home in Advance, where the big event was held...

Few things make me happier than seeing this kind of happiness on a bride's face on the wedding day :)

Seriously, you two... it does not get any more gorgeous than this!

When your name is Caroline, of course a "Sweet Caroline" serenade is called for...

I am so thrilled to finally be able to share photos of the beautiful Caroline from her bridal portrait session earlier this spring! Caroline selected the lovely Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC, for her portraits, and she couldn't have looked more gorgeous if she tried. I am utterly obsessed with her dress, and how absolutely perfect it was for her.

engaged | tyler and samantha | bowling green engagement session

Last week, I traveled up to Bowling Green, Kentucky via Nashville to photograph the sweetest couple's engagement session. I was introduced to Tyler and Samantha by her sister, Gillian - a friend, fellow Belmont alum, and maid-of-honor extraordinaire. A little rain early in the day couldn't stop us... the skies cleared just in time for the session, and we were left with gorgeous, soft evening light. 

We began at Samantha and Tyler's alma mater, Western Kentucky University...

Sweet, candid moments like these are my favorite... aren't they just the cutest?!

After making sure that Al got his moment in the spotlight, we headed over to the town square...
