married | alise and adam | winston-salem wedding photographer
/Alise and Adam hold a special place in my heart for a couple of reasons: 1. they were referred to me by one of my all-time favorite couples, Erin and Aaron, and 2. they were my very last wedding before my extended maternity leave that I've just returned from over two years (!!) later. At the time I photographed their wedding, I was only a few short weeks away from meeting my little guy, but Alise and Adam made the swollen ankles and limited endurance of shooting a wedding at 8+ months pregnant all worth it.
These two are so absolutely full of life and love. They couldn't keep from smiling at each other all day long (the BEST reaction for two people getting married to have), and their celebration with friends and family was just purely joyous. Their wedding took place in downtown Winston-Salem, where they live and work, so I met up with Alise and her girls first at the Embassy Suites where they were getting ready...
At this point, it should be a surprise to no one how much I adore a first look. These two were just giddy with the excitement of seeing one another.
