2012 wedding review :: greensboro wedding photographer

What can I say... 2012 has been a truly AMAZING year for me. Glessner Photography has grown by leaps and bounds, and we are so incredibly grateful to all of the wonderful brides and grooms who entrusted us to capture their love. We've worked with some really incredible wedding professionals, had the opportunity to photograph weddings not only in North Carolina, but throughout the southeastern U.S., and I get paid to do what I love... life doesn't get much better than that!

As I selected photos for this year's wedding review, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the love we've seen and the support and friendship we've received from these couples. From the bottom of my heart, thanks to each and every one of you.

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of being part of the beautiful wedding of Ashley and Evan. These two are probably one of the sweetest couples I've ever met. You can tell immediately upon being around them that they are so in love, and they know that their meeting wasn't one of chance, but that they were made especially for one another.

We had such a great time with all their friends and family at their ceremony at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, and their reception at Cardinal Country Club in Greensboro was one of the most happenin' parties we've ever seen.

The day was full of sweet tears of joy from Ashley and all her bridesmaids... especially while opening Evan's sweet note to his bride-to-be. Ashley gave Evan a book of her bridal portraits as a wedding day gift...

Dad serenaded the newlyweds at their church reception with his rendition of "Love+Marriage."

Ashley is probably one of the most lovely, kind, and talented young ladies I have ever met. She sings, she dances, and now, she's a schoolteacher, too. She and her new husband, Evan, found me earlier this year in their search for a wedding photographer, and I'm so glad they did! They were married this past Saturday at a beautiful ceremony at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, followed by a reception at Cardinal Country Club in Greensboro.

I met up with Ashley and her sweet mama, Connie, and sister, Kelly (by far one of the best maids of honor I've ever seen... she did everything she could to make sure her sister's bride experience was a perfect one and owned that MOH title!) a few weeks ago at a beautiful farm property out in the back roads of High Point, NC for Ashley's bridal portraits. Ashley was such a trooper trampling through the fields in her wedding dress and willing to do anything to get an amazing shot.

Ahhh... I am just in love with this session. It's so romantic, and Ashley was the PERFECT subject!
