I was so honored to photograph my sweet friend Claire and her fiance Spence last year in Tennessee, and I was even more excited to have their engagement session featured on Melissa Hearts Weddings over the weekend! They are such a sweet couple, and Claire is seriously one of the most beautiful people I know.  I can't wait to capture their wedding day coming up in December! In honor of this pretty lady's birthday today, I am thrilled to post this sweet engagement session from the weekend (HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE!!!). This past Sunday, after a 12-hour day of photographing the lovely wedding of Kristin+Read, I got up bright and early just as the sun was rising to drive to Franklin to photograph this precious couple. For those of you who know me well, you know that super early mornings are definitely not my thing, so Claire+Spence - you two should feel extra loved :)​

I met Claire a couple of years ago through my friend Kaley, and since then, she has become one of my dearest friends. She's kind, funny, and one of the most GORGEOUS people I know (personally, I think she could pass for Olivia Wilde), and she and her fiancé Spence together are so much fun to be around and just way too adorable ​for words. They'll be getting married next winter at aVenue in downtown Nashville, and I am just giddy with anticipation for their wedding.

Fueled by delirium and Starbucks, we started our session in downtown Franklin. I've always loved this area on the outskirts of Nashville... it's just so cute and quaint.​

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL??!! Seriously Claire, I can't even imagine how jaw-dropping you're going to be in a wedding dress.​

After we wrapped up downtown, we headed out to the little  town of Leiper's Fork ​for a country feel and some fence climbing. I was mildly obsessed with having the General Lee lookalike in the background there...
