2013 photo review :: wedding and lifestyle photographer

Well friends... New Year's Eve is finally here, and I must say, 2013 has been a great year for Glessner Photography. We've had the honor of photographing so many amazing couples, fellow wedding professionals, and growing families over the past 12 months, and it seems like each year, I love our clients even more. We've branched out and tried new things in business and in photography this year, and I've been blessed with the most supportive photography clients who have become true cheerleaders for our business. As an entrepreneur, that alone is the greatest gift I can receive.

allyson ward of tailored occasions | headshots | greensboro corporate photographer

I have loved my time working with and getting to know the lovely Allyson, owner of Tailored Occasions Event Planning and Design over the last several months! Recently, we worked together to rebrand and create a new web home for her company, and Allyson hired me to photograph some new headshots to match her fabulous new brand.

These were taken right outside of Allyson's office above Studio B at the Broach in downtown Greensboro, and hair and makeup were done by the always wonderful Carla White.

las vegas photo fun :: las vegas photographer

After nearly a week in Vegas at WPPI without enough free time to actually use our cameras, my roomie and I were determined to go out and snap a few photos of each other. On our last afternoon in Las Vegas, we ventured up and down Harmon Avenue, cameras in tow, discovering amazing light in back alleys behind hotels, getting escorted off private property when they caught us using their venue as a backdrop via the security cameras (watch out... we might be on COPS next week), and snapping a few photos with an audience of amused guests at the pool at our resort.

​Photographing a fellow photographer is nerve-wracking, but I'm so honored I got the opportunity to capture Dana's (of Dana Laymon Photography) beautiful style and equally lovely personality.
