Ann Marie and Austin, who you may remember from their Boone engagement session earlier this year, were married this past weekend in a beautiful celebration at St. Leo's Catholic Church and WinMock at Kinderton, and today, I am so excited to be able to share Ann Marie's bridal portraits taken at Old Salem and the Salem College campus in Winston-Salem, NC.

We met up on a lovely sunny summer day to photograph the beautiful bride for the first time in her wedding attire, accompanied by her mom and sister. I just love Ann Marie's joyful spirit and her laid-back, do-anything attitude, and I had so much fun getting to spend the afternoon with her and her family!

I met Christina while in school at Belmont University, and though we were in the same sorority, it really wasn't until I moved away from Nashville and we shared a couple of mutual friends/roommates that I really got to know her. She's truly one of the most hilarious, honest, and loyal people I've ever met, and these days, I'm so blessed to call her one of my best friends.

She and Lucas met while in medical school at Wake Forest, and I am so excited and honored that I'll be photographing their wedding next fall at the absolutely beautiful Butterfly Gap Retreat in Maryville, TN. Lucas and Christina live in Alabama now, where they both work, but they made a quick trip back to Winston-Salem long enough to pose for engagement photos at Old Salem and for Josh and me to grab dinner and drinks with them at one of our mutual favorites, Southern Roots.

BUT, the real highlight of their visit was that I got to meet my puppy nephew, Bruno. Is he not just the cutest thing you've ever seen? And he's just as sweet as he looks. Without further ado, I give you, Christina, Lucas, and Bruno...

becky :: bridal portraits :: greensboro wedding photographer

This weekend, we had the pleasure of photographing Becky and Ryan's beautiful wedding at Old Salem (more on that later this week), and I've been on edge waiting for the chance to be able to post images from Becky's bridal portrait session.

Becky works at the Greensboro Children's Museum, and when she mentioned that she'd like to have her bridal portraits photographed in the museum's garden, I jumped at the opportunity to shoot at a fun new location. Becky is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and I had such a great time capturing the pure joy that surrounds her.
