It's always a delight when you get to see your photographs in a print publications, so I was exceptionally excited to find in my mailbox this afternoon the latest wedding edition of Athens Magazine, a Georgia local publication. A designer for the magazine contacted me a couple of months ago to ask permission to use a photo from this Nashville styled shoot I shot back in 2011 in their Summer color palette inspiration section.

I am so incredibly honored and excited (like the real deal jumping up and down kind of excited) to have Brittany and Jeff's Nashville wedding featured today on Vera Wang's Vera Unveiled blog!

This feature is extra special, not only because Brittany is a friend of mine from college, but also because I got to work with so many AMAZING wedding professionals, many of whom are fellow Alpha Sigma Tau alumnae, on this beautiful event.

I have to admit that I feel a little small to even be on the same web page as the Vera Wang logo - her work is so iconic and the brand is just so big - I mean, come on, who DOESN'T know the name Vera Wang? But I am so so so grateful for the opportunity to be featured on her site, and I am forever indebted to my incredible brides and grooms and the crazy awesome teams of wedding professionals that I get to work with at each and every wedding for helping to make my dreams (that often seem too big to ever be possible) come true.

There is no greater compliment a photographer can receive than to have someone refer you to their friends, and I was thrilled whenever bridesmaid Thesha from Ashleigh and LeMar's wedding last fall told her friend Leah that she should book us, too!

Leah and Chris are such a sweet couple, and I was even more excited about their wedding when I found out Leah was from New Orleans. We bonded over talk of cajun food, Cafe du Monde beignets (the BEST!), and our mutual fandom for the Saints, and it was such a pleasure to have the chance to get to know her mom, sister, and niece, as well.

It's not often that I get the chance to work in Charlotte, and it was so much fun getting to photograph a new area. We started off the engagement session in Fourth Ward Park with a little football...
